At William Stockton we have two learning mentors, Mrs Ackers and Mrs Quayle.
Who are they???
Mrs Ackers
Mrs Ackers has worked at William Stockton and been part of the family for over 10 years. She has extensive experience in working with children on a 1-2-1 basis, delivering Parenting Programmes, Team Around the Family (TAF) and also providing advice, guidance and support. Mrs Ackers delivers our ELSA programme ( Emotional Literacy Support)
Mrs Quayle
Mrs Quayle joined the William Stockton family in 2019 from Early Help and Prevention and has experience in providing support and guidance to children and young people and families, Domestic abuse, Offending behaviour management, Team around the Family (TAF) and advocating on behalf of children and families.
Ms Mahon
Ms Mahon worked at William Stockton as Learning Mentor for 12 years before retiring in 2018, she is currently working at both William Stockton and Wimoldsley assisting with safeguarding. She has experience of providing support to children and families who are experiencing difficulties and working with outside agencies to resolve these issues.

What do we do?
We are here to help children and families with issues that wouldn't necessarily be seen as educational, but can have a significant impact on children and their learning and development.
