Science Ambassadors

Date: 15th Oct 2019 @ 8:40pm

Today the newly appointed Science Ambassadors met for the first time with the Science lead teachers- Mrs Williams and Mrs Clark. We talked about the Primary Science Quality Mark which we are reapplying for and how the ambassadors will be a huge part of this process.

We began by thinking about what makes science 'great' in our school. We had lots of suggestions and most of the children said they felt it was best when it was practical and involved investigations. We are also asking school staff and parents their views on what makes science great this week.  We will then be taking this information and using it to develop our brand new science principles!

The ambassadors were all really enthusiastic and keen to make a difference in the teaching and learning of science in our school. It's been a fantastic start!
